Zhou Tan (b. 1993) uses imaginative and futuristic materials as a medium to reflect societal and personal spiritual thinking of what contemporary art is, including modern-found objects and traditional techniques to express serious topics in a humorous way to the audience. Tan who is fascinated with the cultural exchanges of globalisation, is interested in building communication between different people from various backgrounds in dissimilar places.
