Jian Long’s artistic practice focuses on drawing. His works have an aesthetic reminiscent of etching. Using a ballpoint pen, he builds up layers of lines to create chiaroscuro and depth, which in turn forms a dialogue with the textural surfaces of his works. Jian Long has exhibited in venues such as Art Stage 2015 and Chan Hampe Galleries in Singapore.
