Acclaimed by art critics for her innovative work during her exhibition in the Shanghai Duolon Museum of Modern Art in 2005, Xie Aige (b.1977) has since been considered as “one to watch” in the international art world. The artist masterfully crafts whimsical sculptures in bronze and synthetic materials and coats them in lacquer. Drawing reference from her childhood in rural China, Aige creates charming sculptures that capture moments of man in nature.
