Dukhee Kim (b.1969) seeks the extraordinary from daily life. The artist choses objects that are familiar and creates them in her own style hoping they touch the audience’s feelings. Kim graduated from the Ewha Woman University, Department of Ceramic Art in 1992 and continued on to achieve a Doctorate Degree at the Undergraduate School of the Tokyo University of Art, Department of Crafts in 2004.
