In the past 25 years, Jin Defeng (b.1963) has tried to mix, combine, and match the craftsmanship of various oriental craftsman with the visual colour of the West and the contemporary fashion. Jin's approach is minimalist and extremely complex - he considers the quantity weight, the fault continuation and so on, various dialectical evidence to the top pour, the dislocation, and the blur of the artwork in trying to crate a unique "craftsman spirit" painting.
