Fan Yuxing (b.1971) loved painting and calligraphy since he was a child. He began his artistic journey by studying the paintings of Ming dynasty painter Tan Yin before moving on to the stone tablets of Zhang Wei Long and Zhang Hei Hei of the Northern Wei Dynasty.
