Andrea Berthel (b.1958) is an autodidact who taught himself old master techniques in oil painting, perspective, trompe l`oeil, the physical and psychological aspects of color and various painting techniques in acrylic. Berthel works with different materials and tools such as marble, stone and wood imitation, calligraphy, and Stucco Antico Encausto.
