ABOUT THE ARTIST
Tibetan artists Tashi (b.1979) is a graduate of Minzu University. He is currently a middle school art teacher and one of the founders of iTibet Art Space an artist’s collective. In Tashi’s works, audience can find traditional Thangka (Tibetan Buddhist painting) skills but in contemporary topic and context. The artist is also very concerned about the global environment issues which is reflected in his work.
