ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hirokazu Amitami (b. 1971, Kyoto) creates works that evoke nature such as the forest and natural springs. His aim is to recreate the beauty of nature in an abstract manner in the simple form of a box. His work is a visualization of the power hidden within silence that is inspired by his love of shrines and temples.
