ABOUT THE ARTIST
Kei Hasegawa (b. 1986, Kanagawa) aims to convey the cultural diversity of the world. Much of her inspiration comes from her time living in Venezuela. She uses a technique called Tabane ami where the inner motion of the body is expressed externally by using multiple strips woven together to create dynamic patterns.
