ABOUT THE ARTIST
Zhang Wei is in 1978 in China’s Gansu Province and graduated from the Department of Arts at the North West Normal University. He started learning painting from his father as a young child. In Gansu, the artist witnessed many orphans and “left behind” children living in harsh circumstances. The “Glow” series was intended to encourage people to care for these children.
