ABOUT THE ARTIST
Keisuke Katsuki (b.1991) paints from a digital native perspective. In Katsuki's “Pixel Painting” series, he converted an enlarged low-resolution images of digital display into acrylic paintings on a canvas. Katsuki attempts to rearrange the relationship between image and light by using a limited colour palette. As a result, the boundary between what we see and what we recognize blurs.
