ABOUT THE ARTIST
Lv Yanxiang (b.1984) attempts to stress the unique characteristics of a single individual or a community on his canvases. It is his way of reminding audiences of their independence and diversity which humans tend to lose when facing significant challenges or risks. The desire is for the pursuit for freedom rather than adaption to constraints.
