ABOUT THE ARTIST
Mario “ RAM “ Mallari Jr. (b.1966) studied architecture, and worked as a draftsman before embarking on his journey of sculpture. Coming from humble beginnings, Ram was exposed to metalsmithing early on. Seeing piles of scrap metal destined for landfill, Mallari saw beauty within the myriad of salvageable, metallic shapes protruding from the piles. Mallari Jr. has received international acclaim for his steampunk inspired sculptures.
