ABOUT THE ARTIST
When Chen Jui-Chu grew up, she contemplated the lower-class workers and found they are always full of exuberant vitality. Chen applies sentimental brushstrokes and colours to depict rustically these elements, as a therapeutic way of paying tribute to her parents and even a lifelong devotion to carrying forward the unknown power to look after the unprivileged labours.
