ABOUT THE ARTIST
Park, Jung Woo’s (b.1992) “Worthless Man” series parodies traditional sculptures, showing the changes of the past and contemporary art from the concept that our thoughts are based on the language we use, and that modern people's ideas in the media leave different interpretations of the same form with the same name. Park tackles existence in his work as he uses familiar images to present new perspectives.
