ABOUT THE ARTIST
The "Uncle" character in Park Jin-Sung's sculptures is not the same as the definition
in the dictionary. It is like a hypothetical avatar speaking for the adults as the center
of contemporary society. The tears are common material for most of his work used as a
means to express suppressed feelings.
