ABOUT THE ARTIST
Very close to nature since his early childhood, Jean-Jacques Pigeon keeps working with it. Deliberately heading to the side of the enchantment of the world rather than to the evocation of its decline, Jean-Jacques Pigeon’s painting leans on the symbolic and formal power of the vegetable kingdom. “Effeuillages” (“Thinning-out of Leaves”) draw their free and mundane inspiration of the tree leaves.
