ABOUT THE ARTIST
Lee Youngha (b.1968) employs a lenticular effect on his works by giving an illusion of depth, rendering a moving effect as the image is viewed from different angles. His canvases comprise of two different images superimposed and painted, the dual structure of the canvas enabling the expansion of the plane, the stretching of the image beyond the virtual, and changing the meaning behind the image.
