ABOUT THE ARTIST
Andy Warhol (American 1928 – 1987) was pivotal in the pop- art movement. Following a career as a commercial illustrator, he became a celebrated painter, an avant-garde filmmaker, a record producer, an author, and a public figure moving in diverse social circles from, intellectuals to celebrities and aristocrats.
