ABOUT THE ARTIST
Bae Hyunchul is an invaluable painter with a unique visual language-finger painting. Hyunchul aims to talk about life and consolation by depiction of specific moments of comfort. The artist sketches moonlight in the night, the time on the way home, waves on the beach, the austere port, then he records those moments and their lyricism. His recent series “Moonlight Arirang” is filled with nostalgia.
