ABOUT THE ARTIST
Taiwanese artist Lin Huang Yen creates with a concept that he calls “Transplanting Eastern Elements” where he tries to find the balance between the concrete and abstract and the Eastern and the Western, through traditional and modern methods. Animals are an important theme of the artist’s works, Yen considers leopards as a reflection of himself- elusive and powerful. Through art, the artist pursues self-exploration, identification, and healing.
