ABOUT THE ARTIST
Born in 1945 in Pinhu, Zhejiang, Lang Chengwen is a Chinese painting artist specializing in landscape, people, flower and animal painting. He is the key member of Zhejiang Liangjiang Creation Team, the only government organized landscape painting team during the Cultural Revolution. His works emphasize the traditional Chinese painting skill and Chinese cultural spirit, meanwhile integrates Chinese folk art and western modern art.
