ABOUT THE ARTIST

Alasdair hails from Scotland where he perfected his artistic skills in sporting art, in particular equestrianism, after graduating from art college. He replaced the traditional use of photographic realism with an energetic and expressionist style, reflecting the spirit of the horse in action. As a result, he was chosen to portray equestrian sports at the London 2012 Olympics. Alasdair works in a variety of medium and has attracted an increasing number of loyal international collectors.
