ABOUT THE ARTIST
Yu Yue’s (b.1967) abstracts are inspired by a visit to Tibet. Affected by altitude sickness, Yu could only retain fragmented memories from his trip, nevertheless these memory fragments have transformed into powerful images, inspiring his artistic practice. Yu graduated with a degree in Fine Art from the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He graduated with a postgraduate degree from Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2008.
