ABOUT THE ARTIST
In Yoon Subo’s (b.1960) paintings, one can find a clever deployment of forms of the spirit and structure of “Post of Post Modernism”. Stems of luxurious and vivid colors whirl around the entire canvas and the dynamics of light spread from within, formulating a myriad of mysterious spaces. Flowers and daily wares such as chairs and musical instruments apparently appear in the scene, transforming the bizarre images.
