ABOUT THE ARTIST
Lee Dong Su (b.1965) tries to reconstruct a part of the world; not by reconstructing objects themselves, but by presenting objects as the world. Lee’s works, a simple China and a bowl embodies silence and emptiness, representing winds in a subtle way. Without flamboyant visualization, one could feel the smooth touch of zephyr by looking at his paintings.
