ABOUT THE ARTIST
Yang Tzu-Chin’s (b.1985) works centers around the concept of “media” and sees paintings as a medium that is not unlike a screen. Yang is skillful at depicting her daily activities, by painting them onto the opposite side of a matte acrylic board, creating an ambiguous, blurry, and subtle effect.
