ABOUT THE ARTIST
Rejecting common materials such as clay, wood or iron in sculpting, Wang Liwei (b.1983) began to experiment with leather. The results are unique sculptures with clearly defined lines and silhouettes that reflect the artist’s creative passions, his exploration of human nature: from the nonsensical to boredom, from the comic to the spiritual.
