Tohsinobu Onosato Japan Tohsinobu Onosato,b.1912- 1986, learned oil painting at Atelier Tsuda Seifu from 1931. He participated in the WW2 from 1941 in Manchuria, where he became a prisoner of war. Detentioned in Siberia, he was unable to return to Japan until 1948. Afterwards, he continued to paint and print circles at his atelier in Kiryu.
