ABOUT THE ARTIST
Taein grew up around pottery. Inevitably, pottery and his parent’s life as potters became a central part of the artist’s work. Recreating his parents’ pottery on her canvas, Tae In explores modern people’s desires and the society through hyper-realism, an extremely high-fidelity realism. The artist’s realistic approach eventually leads to observing an individual within society, one’s growth process, and the family.
