ABOUT THE ARTIST
"My inspiration comes from nature and I am especially drawn to paint Cherry blossoms. It seems my name ‘Sumei’ can be translated as ‘Lady Cherry Blossom’ which further extends my affinity for this particular flora. I have done pieces in water-color on rice paper but work mainly in acrylic."
