Shin Hong Jik’s recent works recreate the beauty of pure color pursued by the impressionists. The beauty of pure color is dramatically depicted, filled with brilliance, shining like mesmerizing jewelry. Because they are combination of different colors, it is somewhat colorful, but never difficult. It just reminds us how beautiful oil paints are.
