Specialized in Flower and Bird Paintings, Peng Zhuqing (b.1993) delicately paints based on the traditional Chinese meticulous painting techniques but uses a very untraditional color scheme. Zhuqing breaks the traditional color ideas and creates works with her own personal style by using characteristics of water-based painting that make the color of the painting vivid and distinctive. Zhuqing uses the repeated rendering technique to make the theme’s colors thick yet transparent.
