Conveying energy, passion and strength in her work, Mayté Guzmán (b.1956) is inspired by the movement of the body on canvas, the speed by which the movement occurs in a precise moment, and the gestures that occur in that movement. The artist hopes to transport the viewer to another dimension in a non-existent world.
