ABOUT THE ARTIST
Drawing the position of plants is no longer what Taiwanese artist Lin Yin Cheng (b.1981) is aiming for. Lin wants to express the moment at the certain environment in her memory; some vivid, some dim. Lin paints plants and ancient creatures together as a code of recollection by piling layers of pigments, by destructing and rebuilding memories, simultaneously reimagining its appearance and disappearance.
