Alick Sweet is a Brisbane based artist who was born in Australia in 1947. Sweet works in a variety of materials but maintains a fascination with wood and paint. Timber, stone, steel, bronze and paint are used to create free standing objects, wall reliefs and installations. Sweet has won several major awards for painting, sculpture and drawing whose works are included in private and public collections in Australia and overseas.
