SHOW HIGHLIGHTS & FINDINGS

The Asia Contemporary Art Show is a popular art fair held twice a year in Hong Kong during the most important times of the year for art sales – the Spring and Fall. As the largest and longest running hotel art fair in Asia, the Show welcomes new and repeat visitors to every edition. Each show continues to build upon the success of previous editions, with the recent 9th edition seeing a 7% increase in visitors and surpassing its previous sales record.  The Show works closely with exhibitors, promoting their artists through extensive PR, marketing promotions and social media outreach.

The 11th edition of the Show will also feature: Intersections: Japan and Artist Dialogues

Intersections: Japan will be the first in a new series that will focus on the conceptual crossing of artistic ideas between past and present, traditional and modern East and West. Japan will be the first region to be spotlighted, and the sector will feature works that embody the diversity and dynamism, as well as the conceptual "intersections", of contemporary Japanese art. On show will be works by artists who aim to break the artistic rules and challenge norms through expressive contemporary art forms and techniques.

Artist Dialogues dedicates an entire floor to artists exhibiting in a solo or joint presentation. More than 20 art spaces will offer artists an intimate environment to sell their work, as well as articulate their inspirations and artistic practice into a seeing and learning experience. Artists will also have the possibility to secure potential future commissions and special projects, or collaborate with other artists and galleries.
